Fished Giddings with my son on Saturday June 7 from about 9 am to 3 pm. Following the report from June 2, we started skimming frogs across the grass with some unusual (maybe not) results. We started catching bullfrogs. They would grab the bait but release it when we tried to pull them out of the water. Funny thing, no bass decided to join in the fun, so we switched to casting Wave Worms with some late success fished wacky style between the heavy grass areas with some late success. We ended up catching 5 to 3 lbs. No dinks, but we had many a tap tap tap indicating they were there. 
I recall TheClub mentioning that grass carp were introduced to this property but I am not sure they have yet to make an impact on grass reduction. amkreThe grass .
