Yesterday I went out to Sulphur Bluff - Timber Lake to fertilize, and fish half a day in the morning. The lake is looking good, and the vegetation has subsided substantially over the last couple of weeks.
33 fish, with 9 harvested. The two biggest were 5 lbs 10 oz, and 6 lbs 7 oz. Fish were caught on watermelon red super flukes, and junebug zoom lizards, with the biggest coming on a 3/8 oz black an blue jig with a craw trailer.
Conditions were great for fishing. Overcast with a 5-10 mph breeze.

Phillip,
Fertilizer helps to grow phytoplankton. Phytoplankton form the food base for the entire food chain. A strong food chain grows big bass, or that’s the goal at least!
