Finally made it there this afternoon.  It’s the closest club property to my house, so about time.  I had really high hopes with the weather warming up, but the fishing was a bit slow.  Sunny, bluebird skies and wind.  No place to hide on this lake.

I started fishing at about 2 and fished until just before dark.  I caught 5 fish.  4 looked like the same healthy 2 lber, and one under I kept.  Surprised that I caught nothing shallow at all.  All fish came from around the 2 trees sticking up in the middle.  No real pattern, caught them on several different things.  Nothing was caught on top water or Senko’s Texas Rigged and Wacky.
