Member John Bedore and I fished the BlackJack Ranch ranch on Saturday for a few hours before continuing on West to San Saba.  Weather was 65 degrees and spitting rain.  The wind was mostly calm but occasionally gusting out of the South.

The bite was very subtle and baits had to be fished VERY slowly to get any bites.  We did manage to catch 26 fish before we left with 13 harvested.  Big fish of the day was right at 5 lbs.  We did fish the club boat and it was in good repair with very little leakage.

No real pattern, the fish were scattered all over the lake.

As usual at BlackJack grass is always present.  Dam side of the lake is very fish-able, shallow side is difficult to fish.  grass beds are generally within a foot or two of the surface (or at the surface).
