I hunted JerMar this morning.  There were a lot of ducks coming in, mostly flying in over the pasture to the East and landing in the middle of the lake.  Very few came into range of me (set up under the tree on the peninsula just south of the blind.  I managed to get 2.  Would’ve gotten a few more if my 6 year old wasn’t with me.  He can sure spoil a good duck hunt.  But I’d rather leave empty handed any day of the week to get to see the excited joy as ducks come cupping in on us (just before they spot/ hear him and fly away) than to miss that time with him.
