I setup on the road side with the permanent blind facing me on my left. We sat in two bunches of cattails right on the water.  Birds were OK.  We did have three pretty good sets (4-7 birds ) right at shooting time, pintails and teal.  We shot 2 hen blue wing teal and two puddle ducks.  Lots of moss in the water, all birds landed in the open spots between the decoys and not anywhere in the moss.  Used pintail, mallard and teal decoys, about 20 in total with two mojos, mallard and teal We had birds till about 9AM but mostly singles.  All in all pretty happy with opening day.
