Shot a two man limit both Saturday and Sunday,  mainly Gadwalls, Widgeon and Teal.  I scouted the property Friday night and found about 30 birds feeding just north of the barb wire divider that runs east to west across the center of the lake.  I set up the blind and decoys at night after they were gone in the same place.  I would suggest bringing a ladder to help you get over the barb wire fence as I did not find an easily accessible hole.  The algae and vegetation is so thick on the north side that the decoys can hardly move.  Therefore, I suggest bringing and rigging motion decoys.

The ranch and cabin itself are just wonderful.  It is the perfect place for a secluded escape from Dallas.  There is a semi-nice Italian restaurant on the square in Clarkesville that will clean and prepare your duck for you, I highly recommend it.
