It’s kind of hard to write this report as Twin Lakes has always been one of my favorite spots for several reasons, but most notably I caught my PB at Twin Lakes, 8 lb. 12 oz.. But clearly, something has changed. I fished the East Lake this afternoon under blue bird skies with little to no wind. Not ideal conditions, but I have only been skunked once here, and the wind was blowing about 30-35 mph that time. I fished for about 4 hours and threw everything at them, only caught 1 fish, 1 lb.. A couple of observations: 1. The water is gin clear, easily 6-7 foot visibility, maybe more. 2. There is still a lot of coon-tail moss that needs to die off and breakdown. Fishing is still very challenging unless you are in the very middle and there is still some coon-tail to contend with in parts of the middle. 3. I noticed lots of LITTLE fish, tons of 3-4 inch bass and bluegill. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property at this time.

Steve, can you tell going on with Twin Lakes? I love it out there too b/c it’s so pretty and every inch of the lake looks like it would hold bass. I haven’t been back though b/c I didn’t have luck the three times I’ve been there.
