Partner and I fished from 1:30 til 4:30 on 10/5/13 on the East Lake. It was 86 degrees when we got on the lake. One hour later it was 66 degrees with a 20-25 mph North wind. Constant on high with the trolling motor just to maintain position. Ended up tying to the two exposed stumps in the middle of the lake then moving toward the dam to the last point on the East side and using anchor. Caught and released 10 bass from 1.5 to 3 lbs. on Texas rigged green pumpkin wave worms. When anchored, caught 11 nice crappie and one bass on Rattletraps. Removed the crappie. Lake is down a little but full of hydrilla. Fishing area reduced to about half the lake. All in all…....still fun!
