Friend and I fished a beautiful Sunday afternoon, sunny with a high of 80 with a slight breeze after a cool morning. So the weather was perfect and we got what we came for. Friend caught a 6.5 (his largest bass) and I caught an 8 (24 inches) my largest so far in Private Waters.

Mine jumped out of the water twice by the boat - wow. I couldn't stop him/her from getting into the timber. Friends really got tangled in the tress, we were fortunate to get them out. Both had huge heads so they have plenty of room to grow. Both were caught on deep diving cranks in the channel, thanks Steve for tip posted earlier. We harvested two others.  Suggest they remove foot controlled trolling motor as it just gets in the way and makes the boat heavier so harder to launch.

This lake is certainly one of the top 5 properties for big fish. About every other trip produces a fish of 8 lbs or better. I’m tickled you got yours. The lake sees very little fishing pressure.
