Read about the big top water bite at JerMar so we showed up at the lake @ 7:00 am looking for top water action. When my buddy’s first cast with a buzz bait was rewarded with a fish we thought we were going to have a ball. Well we did, just not on top water. Caught something well north of 40 fish in the 1 1/2 to 2 lb. category on a variety of lures, the hot one was a rattle trap. Nothing big but really great to be out and having “something tugging in the line.”
