Member Lou Lawrence and I fished BlackJack 9/2/2013 early.  Got there about 7am and started fishing the dam.  Several large fish were feeding near the shoreline at the dam.  I threw in a top water popper and landed a 9lb (my personal best).

We caught a few more medium to small (total about 6 for the day between us).  The bite was slow and the lake water is very clear but low.  It was very hard to fish the shallows as we spent more time navigating the vegetation than fishing.  We used the club onsite boat and it did not have any leaks.
