Launched @ 7:30 AM and fished till @ 11:30. Caught several “dinks” which has not been the norm at this location. Water clarity was @ a foot and down about four and a half feet from “basic pool”, windy and needed to anchor to make presentations. There is still plenty of water to fish and caught 7 in the 2.5 to 4.5 lbs. range, these fish were nice but not “full bodied” then topped the morning off with a strong “Smith Ranch Special”, 7.5 lbs. and all the fight you want, a nice healthy fish that made the day. Baits of note were chatter bait and 5” worms.
