I fished Blackjack Ranch with guest, Leonard Brautigam this past Saturday from 7am til 11. Conditions were bluebird skies with calm to light winds. Water is extremly clear. Drifting the middle of the lake over deeper holes produced 20 fish from 1.5 lbs to 3.5 lbs. Topwater baits were unsuccesful early and all fish were caught on Sencos in darker colors.

Tom. Did you use the boat? Last time I was there it had a hole near the transom. Did you have any problems?

Hi Bill,

I did not use the on site boat. I fished out of my Pelican, but have heard similar concerns about the provided boat.
