I got a chance to fish with my best fishing partner, my daughter. Any time we can go fishing is good but fishing with my children is always a real treat.

We got to Black Jack lake at about 7:15 on August 3rd and fished for 3 1/2 hours.  The lake was in good shape and the breeze and early cloud cover helped keep the heat at bay.  We caught 17 fish with some real nice fish from 10-10:30. 

We tried to force-feed them frogs early but ended up catching the most and biggest on flukes.  The water is very clear and maybe half the lake is fish-able (too weedy on other half).  Water level is holding up well.
