Enjoyed a morning fish with my 6 year old boy Sun AM. We did not get the earliest start, but he still hooked several on a spro frog (his first good top water bite), his first explosion was a great sight to see his reaction!

Even playing dad, I was able to land about 20 (he caught a handful on spinner bait too) fish before 12pm, largest around 3.5…some dinks and a handful of 2lb. Most on soft plastics fished slow near trees in center.

Lake heavy grass on shorlines, but still very fishable all over. Lake low, but getting a small boat in not a problem.

Is the concrete ramp still serviceable for a full size boat?

I would be hesitant to launch a full size boat at this time. The lake is about 6 feet low and your trailer wheels would fall of the back of the ramp.  Brian and I were just there last week to patch the leak in the boat. launching a two man boat or smaller jon boat is not an issue. But I think launching an 17 ft+ aluminum boat might present a challenge.

agree with Steve,  my 10 foot buster trailer put my rear SUV tires right at edge of being in some thick gunk…so not sure, it is shin deep soft mud right at the end of the ramp….
