Driving to the lake all the cows were standing, had great cloud cover, the weather had cooled off, and there was a nice ripple on the water…....had to be a “fish-on” type of day…..not. The fish never got the message. Caught a nice fish on the second cast and spent 3 hours working hard to hook a dozen more, harvested 10 of those and wondered if there was another type of lure because cranks, plastic, spinners, chatter bait, and jigs weren’t working….it can’t be me!!!!! HMMMMM.
