Went out early with a good friend. Good thing because that was the best bite right at daylight.  Caught 6 nice fish (2-3 lbs) before 7:00 on black worms.  Tried a lot of other baits but that’s all that worked the rest of the morning.  Got considerably slower by 11, and it was hot, so we called it a day.  Ended with 20 fish up to 3.5, including 5 dinks and a snagged perch. It was a good day.
