Fished Kickapoo Lake on July 2, 2013.  Picked this day because temperature was moderate and winds were predicted to be low.  Had a very nice time.  Caught 15 bass, four of which were over the 14 inch slot.  The biggest weighed right at 4 pounds.  All fish looked healthy.  Wind can be an issue on this lake because there is no trees to break the wind.  Also the lake water level was down 3 - 4 feet.  This will be an issue as summer proceeds as it will be difficult to navigate a lot of the lake due to depth.
