fished the morning with my son.  lake down due to no rain but surprised not to find surface grass.  The portion of lake furthest from the launch site is very shallow with heavier grass.  very slow bite.  harvested 5 bass on swim baits and spinner baits.had better success here in Spring. . . that’s why they call it “fishin” instead of “catchin”.  better luck next time.
