My wife and I just joined PWF and have had better luck and more fun in 2 outings at Triple J than in the last several years of “Big Lake” fishing.  Also, having the entire place to ourselves is a huge plus.  We went to Triple J on 6/23 and 6/25.  We didn’t put up big numbers (we boated 9 in total), but I caught 2 in the 2.5 lb range and my wife caught a 4.5 pounder.  Her biggest fish ever.

On our first trip we paddled around the lake and the next day I bought a trolling motor @ Academy ;-)  Lesson learned.

Both trips: 100 degrees & windy.  From 4 PM til dark.

Mike,

What you wrote are the reasons Private Water Fishing exists and is growing. Our goal is for you to enjoy the great outdoors with no crowds. Having a 4.5 lb bass tug your line is a ton of fun! Welcome to Private Water Fishing.

Hey mike I’ve been in club little over a year and love it. Best thing I ever did was sell my boat and join the club. Triple j my favorite I think I live 10 minutes from it. Lots of good fish in that lake and some big crappie. Haven’t caught big bass there yet about 5 and half biggest so far. I keep thinking there’s a giant in that lake but if there is he’s eluded me so far

It’s been key for getting my wife Amy interested in fishing as well. Good stuff.
