My buddy and I fished Deer Trail from 4 PM until 8:30 PM.  At first it was pretty slow with my buddy catching a few on plastics.  Moss is a problem in areas for the trolling motor.  Around 7:30 they started biting and we caught several; our total was 13 bass all over 14 ” and most weighing from 1 1/2 lbs to 2 1/2 lbs.  Best luck was in cove near boat launch on that side towards dam.  Jerry King- so my suggestion come early or late
