Two of us fished from 8am to about noon.  Partially cloudy and very windy (25 mph+).  Wind direction made it difficult to find protection so we fought it with the trolling motor at times, and anchored.  Caught about 16-18 bass total, on weightless worms and frogs.  Most fish were in the 1.5 - 3.5 lb range, and appeared to be nesting yet.  The lake was very weedy, so weightless baits were about all you could present.  Harvested 2 bass each, about 4 lbs total.  If it hadn’t been windy, I think we would have caught 15-20 each.
