Member Chris Massey and I fished Blackjack on Saturday from 7:15 to noon.  We landed 36 bass and a 6 large bluegill.  Most fish were taken on Pop R’s and Hula Poppers drifitng over submerged grass.  The overcast and light rain were conducive to the topwater bite and the fish were very agressive.The largest fish was 3.5 lbs, with most between 1.5 and 2 lbs. Other baits that worked were sencos and spinnerbaits.
