Arrived at the lake around 7:30 a.m. with overcast skies and no wind.  After heavy rains Friday nite, the road to the lake was extremely muddy.  To avoid getting stuck, we parked @ top of the hill and walked in to bank fish.  The lake is down about 8’ & we fished about 3/4 of the bank.  As the PWF description indicates, you can throw anything in the tackle box and catch fish.  And the lake has a healthy snake population.  The brush pile directly in front of the overflow drain produced the larger fish.  Letitia’s first cast brought in the first bass.  My last cast was at the dam with the flyrod using a size 14 white woolybogger.  I landed one of the larger bass of the day.  We caught 25 bass ranging between 1# to 2 1/2#.
