My friend and I fished the East lake from 12:30 til 4:30 on Saturday, May 18. Weather condition….90 degrees but with a steady breeze. Lake level full with what looks like pasture grass around the banks and spread intermittenly throughout lake. Caught and released 27 bass and 2 monster black crappie. Caught the crappie on a Rattletrap. Caught a couple of bass on the trap but the remainder on Texas rigged and wacky rigged Senkos. All fish healthy and black. Largest fish in the 2-3 pound range and caught a dozen in that range. Would like to fish the West lake but can’t get off the East lake. Don’t leave fish to look for fish….....great day.
