San Saba received over 4 inches of rain on 5/15/2013 and the lake is full for the first time in 4 years. We are excited about what this will do to the fishery. Lots more area to fish with less vegetation.

Much needed. Last weekend, we made the mistake of letting the wind blow us all the way down to the end of the near channel in the hopes of finding an open pocket or two stacked with double digit bass. By the time we got to the creek without finding a single magical lunker pocket, we were feeling like the turkeys gobbling at us. I have to tow the boat all the way back from the creek to about 100 yards from the boat ramp. Sent you a few pictures and video. Feel free to post them for a few laughs. Mike Mehlmann
