Caught 40. Harvested 33. Largest keeper was 3.4lbs. Caught all but two on a spinner bait. June Bug color skirt w/ a green trailer. I threw larger bait to catch larger fish but no takers.
Winds were tough. In golf terms, I was dealing w/ a three club wind. Still caught lots of fish though.
I used the V-hull boat b/c of it’s proximity to an easier place to launch. The area behind the shed is so shallow that you’d have to wade out into the muck before climbing aboard.
Beware, the v-hull boat has a decent crack in it. I bailed water all day until I got sick of it so I just stood in the water.

I was there recently and we used the boat stored under the shed. We pushed it into the water unloaded then used the bow rope to maneuver it south about 20 feet. Loaded and launched it from there without getting muddy.
That boat has no leaks but the add-on seats are not fastened to the boat’s bench seats, so they may toss you if you lean sideways too much. Just be very careful or don’t use them.
