Fingerling
My nephew, Kirby Brewer and I fished Lake Leon Saturday and Sunday. Both days saw winds in the 15 to 20 mph range. Warm south winds on Saturday with overcast skies and clear post frontal conditions on Sunday. Boat control was an issue due to the high winds on both days. Our total for the weekend was 21 bass with 6 under 14” harvested. Our best day was on Sunday, with Kirby boating 9 bass up to 3 and 3/4 lbs. I only caught 2, but managed to land a 6.6lb with a length just shy of 24 “. Hoping it places among the leaders in the contest, depending on others weekend results!
