Been a while since I’ve made an evening fishing outing and Malouf didn’t disappoint.

Got to the lake about 2:30 and fished until dusk.

Lake is lower than I have ever seen it.  Probably down 3-4 feet.

Beautiful evening on the water.  Took one lap around the lake and managed to get 65 bass in the boat and missed another 15-20. 

Most fish were in the 1-2 pound range.  Biggest was 2.75lb.  All fish have good relative weight for their length.   

Caught fish all the way around fishing the edge of the grass line an even some in the middle.

I just threw moving baits – speed worm, swim senko, crank bait.  I’d catch a few and then switch up the bait and catch some more switch again just for fun.

Love this lake.  Glad it’s in the club!!!
