Mike and I fished from 11:30 to 6:30.  Lake level looked full.  Water temperature 83 and water clarity ~18”.  The lake has a lot of deep water.  We caught 34 of which we harvested 13 bass and 1 sunfish.  The biggest caught was 7 ½ lb by Mike.  The other 19  were just under 2 up to 3 ½ pounds.  A dirty underspin jighead and a Texas rigged fluke were the two best lures.  The bigger fish were caught out in the middle between the island and the gazebo and a little north of that.  There is a big brush pile in that area that held a number of fish.  The harvest fish tended to be caught along the bank.  The drive in is beautiful and the property is properly named with a bunch of white bison in a field.  We launched and recovered an 18’ boat ok but had to back pretty far into the lake to get it off and on the trailer.  Glad we had a four wheel drive vehicle.  The lake is gorgorous.  Thoroughly enjoyed the time there.  Will come back again.
