Mike and I fished from noon to 5:30.  Lake level looked down about 3’, water temperature was 85 and water clarity about 12”.  We caught 18.  The biggest was 4 ½.  We caught several from 3 – 3 ½ lbs.  And a number of 2 – 2 ½ lbs.  All were fat.  A wacky rigged Senko was the best lure, but did catch some on a shaky head worm, ½ oz spinner bait and a small square bill.  A lot of them were caught along the dam, but we did catch some around the brush piles towards the back.  Was fun going back behind the new island.  Even caught a small one back there.  And there was a big carp swimming around on the surface along the east bank that was fun to watch.  This is a great lake with a lot of deep water and great structure.  When we arrived, had a nice chat with Craig.  This is a property we always enjoy fishing.
