Mike and I fished from noon to 5:30.  Would say the lake level was down about 1 ½ feet.  Water temperature was 78 degrees & water clarity was 6” to 12”.  We caught 19.  The biggest was 6 lbs.  Second biggest was 4 ½ lbs.  4 of the 19 were crappies, with one going 2 lbs.  A small square bill crank bait was the only thing we could get to work.  No particular pattern.  Caught them in shallow water, in the deeper spots, by the dam and out it the middle.  The back part of the lake on the far side from the boat ramp and the creek in the back were too shallow to fish.  The air temperature was very comfortable and it was a nice afternoon to be on the water.  The gravel boat ramp the owner put in worked great.  Launched & rcovered an 18’ aluminium bass boat with no problems.  This propery is a fairly short drive for us and we had a good afternoon of fishing.  And with the gravel boat ramp, we will come back again.
