I went out to Van Alstyne Jer Mar Sunday.  Took home a gadwall and ringneck.  Lost another crippled ringneck (no dog, I wade and get them).  Kicking myself after totally missing a flight of 3 mallard drakes.

Weather was winds from Southeast at 10 gusting to 15 and sky was blue bell.  Saw a lot of birds than didn't come to spread for that kind of weather.

Anyone going out there could jump the first longer tank on left as you come on the property.  It holds ducks on the far south side. A good bit of them.

Anyway, I think a more skilled caller and shooter could have easily gotten in a limit in 3 hours even with that weather.  So, good place.  Blind is great too.
