Thanks for the report. Great numbers for sure. Without aggressive harvest they will likely get thinner. Our members are wonderful with harvest, but we need more. We need 750 14” and smaller out of China this year. We are at 123 harvested bass.

The 52 you removed is a huge help. We are grateful and so our members. Thanks for doing your part!!

At Acker we have removed 189 at Acker this year and looking for 1000 out of this lake. We need some aggressive harvest at this lake as well. Everyone help!!

Hal,

Great job on the harvest numbers.  Regarding the raw thumb, I learned something from my dad growing up bass fishing.  He used to wear an old (or new) golf glove, and it prevented “bass thumb”, while still giving him the ability to use that hand for other stuff.  It works wonders!

Thanks! I'm stealing that.

If you're right handed, and you use a bait casting reel, you'll need to wear the golf glove on your left hand.  You really can't control the bait casting spool with a glove on.  You'll and get used to lipping the bass with your left hand.

Thanks- w

orked like a charm today. I'm left handed, so my golf glove is on the right hand. That's the hand I always lip the fish with. Agree, don't think I could cast with a glove on my casting hand.
