A nice afternoon at Kickapoo. The wind was up but still manageable. It was my first time on this lake so it took a short while to locate the fish. The operative word here is “short.” There are pockets of fish all around this small lake. Found numbers 15 - 25 feet off the dam, in the north finger along the west shore, and in the west finger where one of the creeks empties into the lake.

Got 26 bass in the kayak along with one big crappie. Nothing to speak of in terms of size, but still plenty of fun on a warm fall day.
