Fished Escondido on August 23^rd from 7AM until 2PM. The property has significant weed growth around the entire perimeter and I tried senkos and other swim baits with no success. I did have several hits on top water lures with one taking the lure into the lily pads and getting off. The only area I had success was the larger standing timbers section with either a medium diving crank bate or a underspin. The bite died off after noon so o I departed around 2PM.
