Reservation Number : 44320
Property Name : Tara Lake
Reservation Date : 08/16/2025 AM -
Total Fish/Sizes : 11 Bass , 4 Crappie
Lures Used : Jackhammer, Senko, War Eagle Spinnerbait, small crank bait

Paul Brinson and I enjoyed our morning outing.  Paul had been to property once, and my 1st time.

On water fishing by 6:20 am.

Water level down 2-3 feet.

Water visibility less than 1 foot.

We worked the lake clockwise and found out quickly the Northside of lake with feeder creeks side was very shallow.

We were most productive in the middle of the lake with depths of 5-6 feet deep and closer to boat launching area.

Paul’s biggest 5.4 lbs.

My biggest 4.13 lbs

Best!

Currie, Tara is a shallow water lake and is in surprisingly  in great shape for this late into the summer months
in past summers it’s not uncommen not to be able to fish it to the left of the ramp because it’s just to shallow.
Looks like ya”ll found some nice healthy fish, great times Right.
Tara does hold some big bass and crappie.
Take Care My Friend.

Thank you Steve and good to know!  I am enjoying exploring new lakes and developing in finding the fish!  I was raised country enough to understand where holes and / or structure changes beneath hold bass.  It's been fun learning!  I also like seeing different properties for wildlife and more.
