Malouf is one of our favorites. As expected, we had a nice HOT summer day. We caught most of our LMBs on Senko’s or Zoom worms TX Rigged. A few on swimbaits. They were tucked away in the grass and structure down on the floor. Sizes were ~1 to 2.8lbs. We knew the bite was going to be tough, but wanted to get out anyway. Water was stained slightly green with clarity up to about 2-3ft. Wind picked up early afternoon and temp went north of 100, we called it and hit Whataburger. 

*Careful with the cows out here. This is the 2^nd time they chewed and pulled the trailer wires out of my truck. They also like to use my truck as a rubbing post. We covered the hitch with a box and that seemed to work.
