I’m not sure what I was expecting at Angel Lake but it surpassed expectations.  My son and I enjoy the feeling of seclusion and this met that desire.  Though smaller, the lake held good depth at the dam and offered shade pockets for bass.  We caught 2 to 3 out of multiple shoreline cuts and most ranged from 2 to just under 4 lbs. We had one better than 4 come unbuttoned and another large bass swirl on a 6 inch swim bait.  The water clarity was good and it fished easy (not too much grass).  It was a fantastic morning and we hope to fish iAngel Lake again in the fall.
