Lures Used : Top water, plastic worm, crankbait and swim baits

Good bite from 6:00 am until around 8:00 a.m.  Most bites on top water.  Nothing big but mostly solid fish around 2 lbs.

After the early morning bite, fished the timber with a Texas rigged plastic worm.  Sporadically caught fish until around 10:00 a.m.

Bite really slowed as the temperature reched 96 degrees from 10:00 a.m. until noon.  Caught a few fish the last couple of hours throwing a crankbait and swimbait in the deeper parts of the lake.

Overall, lots of fish early with the bite tapering off as the sun rose and the temps increased.  Wind was from the north but the cooler temps had not yet arrived.  Lake appears to be at normal depth and water clarity is high.  

All in all a good day fishing for a hot summer morning.
