Fished 7/29 with a friend and potential new member.  Started right at dawn and off the water before noon once it started to really get hot.  Outstanding top water bite right away with buzz bait and frogs over and along weed beds, first fish was 5lbs, great way to start.  After several good fish that bite started to slow so we switched to soft plastics and continued with steady action including a 6lber off the brush pile with a red bug lizard.  Picked up fish all around the islands and main lake, the NW corner and northern bank produced lots of solid fish on soft plastics and lipless crank.  For late July, the action was fantastic with plenty of bites and many fish in the 3-6lb range. Ended up culling 35 (many very solid fish) and releasing 40 overs, our best 5 probably went 26-27lbs. 

With the lake resting until October, I imagine the fall bite will be excellent at The Bluffs!
