The solunar table said that a major time was from about 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  So I got to the lake about 12:30, loaded the great pontoon boat at thr MK Ranch lake and started fishing.  Tried everything, TX Rig, Carolina Rig, Swim bait, chatter bait and nothing.  I was about to think this was just nature outing.  Finally caught my first fish, just under 4 lbs,at 4:00 on a wacky rig in some trees about mid lake.  Caught 3 more in the next 20 minutes.  So much for the solunar table.  Stayed with the wacky rig and caught a few more all in the deeper water, nothing off the bank.  All in all it was a great July day at a beatuiful lake. High temp was only about 90 with a light wind The ponton boat is great and in great condition.  By 6:00 the bite had pretty much stopped, my battery was finished, and so was i.  Looking forward to coming back.
