Just became a member this past week and took my 5 yr old with me for our first outing! We caught 5 bass in the 14-16in range before 8am. The kiddo got big bass for the day and his PB, right around 2lbs! I had 2 blow ups first thing on a top water walking bait and caught one of those. Everything else was caught on weightless sinkos. Started fishing about 645 and by 8 we couldn't buy a bite. So we shifted gears and went back to the dock and got the brim hooks out and went after those huge bluegill we saw while loading up the minitune! First one caught was just shy of 1lb and my PB gill! We managed about 5 each and then they got smart! All in all it's a beautiful lake and probably the clearest water I've fished besides in the mountains! I'll definitely be back and will prob become my go to lake seeing how it's only 20 minutes from the house!
