Had a friend travel from Key West to visit and we went here.

Super pretty property and best concrete boat ramp!

This has been the 4th visit to Culpepper.

Water full and water clarity 2-3 feet.

We fished for just over 3 hours starting on water 1:30 pm.

Worked the lake counterclockwise.  Caught the biggest 3.36 lbs, on the SE corner near feeder creek.

Other fish caught near boat ramp and single small pier!

Major turtle infestation which likely is affecting Bass population.  I'm no expert, but a turtle trap and relocating them probably a good idea.

1st time in ages I broke off on a big one on North side of single dock on Yum worm..  You know the feeling – the thought process of could have been a PB and you pause after your line breaks and you see the disturbed water and watch your line come back to you because you lost the fight. Then, you shake a little and feel your heart still pounding from the rush.
