Member Randy Groves and I fished from 6:30 to 1:00. Morning was very pleasant with a nice breeze and somewhat overcast.  Water temp ranged from 86 to 90 with the perfect water color.  Not much structure in the lake except a one small group of trees and a beavers nest, shoreline has overhanging trees, some pencil grass and other structures. Caught mostly culls (20) and bass just over the cut line (20) with one at 3 that Randy caught. All the fish fought hard. Most fish were caught on a weightless worm, Tx rigged creature, swimbait or lipless crank. Then lighting strucked around 11:00 when an 8.8 hit my swinbait near the beavers nest. Fish had a hugh head and mouth with a good size tail sticking out of its gullet, you can see the other end of the fish in the vertical pic. Probably added nearly a pound to its weight. The gravel ramp down to the lake is steep and with all the rain recently pretty mushy and now with a numberof truck ruts. Recommend 4 wheel drive until ramp gets packed down. Randy had to tow my pickup without 4 whell drive out – good thing he had a tow rope.  Very quiet and picturesq lake. Great day on the water in the middle of July in Texas.

Does the mini pontoon have 2 seats or just one?  Wondering if two people can fish out of it or not?  Thanks!

Ryan I’m not sure we both had our own boats.

The boat has two seats upfront and a bench in the back. See picture

Chris/Steve,

Given the gravel road condition, wondering if you thought we could launch a Ranger RT178 (understanding we would get wet boots)?
