It was hot but with just enough wind to make it bearable and a pretty consistent bite all day. Caught most along the grass line, but also along the ridge in deep water.

The last catch will go down in our books though….  It was the end of the day and my son cast a frog out and wasn't really paying attention when a huge bass came out of no where and swallowed it, the rod flew out of his hands and he jumped in after it, retrieved the rod, got back on the boat and STILL had the fish on the line.  He was able to reel it in and it turned out to be the biggest fish of the day at 5.9 pounds!  It was unbelievable and amazing all at the same time!
