Fished from about 7:15am to 7:15pm with a long afternoon break during the heat of the day.  Weather was upper 70s in the morning to mid-90s in the afternoon till a little thunderstorm rolled in around 5pm and cooled things off.  Water was murky brown color with about 12” visibility and 86 degrees with a pretty defined thermocline at 10’.    There is a ring of that thick fibrous greenish brown moss ringing the lake especially around eastern and southern shore line.  Caught first 3 fish on a frog on the southern end in the morning.  I missed each of them multiple times, but thankfully they just kept hitting it till I mangaged to hook up.  I struggled from there until I found some structure in the middle of the lake that was holding fish and I was able to start catching some on a Tx rig Zoom Old Monster worm, a shakey head, and an underspin swimbait.  After my long break, I went back to that area and continued to catch fish regularly on a scrounger head w/ a fluke and the underspin including several other 3lbs and the best of the day that was just over 5lbs.  Some of the better fish were very skinny including the 5lber which would easily have been over 6 if she had been fat.  The bite slowed down around 6:30pm, so I called it a day just after 7pm with 25 fish landed.  Thanks PWF and the good Aggie land owner for a really fun property to fish.
