Fished by myself Thursday morning. I expected a problem finding the launch area and I was not disappointed. Arrived just  before first light and found an area to launch my kayak whicch did not look like pictures I had seen.Removed my kayak trailer and drove around a bit using the lake GPS location . I did not see anything like a path or trail so I gave up and launched where I was.Paddeling around the lake I saw a small cove with what may a been a club boat but this did not look like the pictures nor promising. Maybe the rains and a higher lake level made the difference.

Caught 18 bass and removed 5. All the bass removed were 13” and the largest was 3 ½ lbs. The visibility was 4 ft with the entire bottom of the lake covered with some vegetation. Some of the vegetation extended to the surface mostlly along the shore line and in the shallow coves. My most effective lures were 4” and 5” wacky, fluke, creature bails and ned rig with wat/seed being the best color

Coming out of the cove where I launched I stopped in an area and caught 2 bass on a 4” wacky then the next two cast produced 2 bream weighing ¾ lb. ( digital scale ). At this point I grabbed my fly rod and caught another 6 huge bream plus another dozen medium to small bream..After that cove the bass were more difficult to locate.
