Friday morning son and I made a short hike up to Jermar, even with all of the recent rain.  Met the owner at the gate, let me know the water was spilling out over the spillway & couldnt promise a great fishing day.  

We started off with topwater poppers, instant action bagging 8 in an hour.  Took the largest @ 3 lbs on the digital scale.  Was a cool site to see him knock the popper out of the water.  Clouds broke, sun hit hard so we swapped over to 10” Tx Rigged worm.  Bagged 8 more and called it a day @ 1030am.  Radar showed possible storm 10 miles north.  

Always a great time, some healthy fat bass .
